Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Stag at Stow, I found it to be the perfect sanctuary for exploring the enchanting Cotswolds with friends. Our experience was elevated by the warm, accommodating staff who greeted us with a welcoming drink, setting a delightful tone for our getaway. Each morning, we savored a sumptuous breakfast that showcased locally sourced ingredients, while the evenings were spent enjoying the inviting ambiance of the log fire in the dining room, where classic pub fare is artfully blended with modern culinary flair. The large rooms, featuring luxurious super king-sized beds and spacious limestone tiled showers, provided the restful retreat we needed after our daily adventures among the charming nearby towns. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches that ensured our stay radiated comfort and sophistication. The Stag at Stow has captured a perfect balance of modern luxury and historical charm, making it a fantastic base for exploring the breathtaking natural beauty of the area. Highly recommended for anyone seeking not just accommodation, but a memorable Cotswold experience.
